Since 1995, he has specialized in providing audit, consulting, and advisory services to nonprofit organizations, government contractors, and organizations receiving federal funding.

Dawit advises clients on complex accounting and regulatory matters, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Uniform Guidance compliance, Single Audits, and employee benefit plan audits, helping organizations maintain strong financial reporting and regulatory compliance.

As a key member of Rubino’s Quality Control Team, Dawit helps uphold the firm’s high standards for audit quality, professional standards, and client service. He is responsible for researching and implementing new accounting and auditing guidance to ensure audit engagements align with evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
