Rubino & Company Promotes Two Directors to Shareholders

New Partners to Help Propel Growth and Expansion in Assurance and Tax Services

Bethesda, MD (January 05, 2021) – Rubino & Company, a nationally-recognized CPA firm specializing in financial services and regulatory consulting, announced today that it is promoting two of its Directors to Shareholders.

Dawit Negari has been promoted to Shareholder with Rubino & Company’s Audit Department, and Lisa Hahn is now a Shareholder in the Tax Department.

The two new Shareholders have demonstrated consistent dedication to providing clients with the highest standards of service in their respective fields, as well as a deep commitment to the community, staff development and expanding Rubino & Company’s services.

Dawit Negari, Shareholder, Assurance Services

Dawit is now Shareholder within the Audit Department, specializing in providing audit, consulting, and advisory services to nonprofit organizations and government contractors. Dawit provides expert guidance on matters related to generally accepted accounting principles, Uniform Guidance, employee benefit plan audits, and assists in overseeing the Firm’s audit quality and services.

Lisa Hahn, Shareholder, Tax

Lisa is now Shareholder within the Tax Department, specializing in individual and corporate tax planning and preparation for high net-worth individuals, pass-through entities, and corporations. Lisa’s responsibilities include tax consulting, technical review and research, and high-level preparation for a wide range of individual and business clients. She assists in managing the tax department, which includes supervising staff; overseeing and improving processes and workflow; and coordination of all tax responsibilities, meetings and activities performed within the tax department.
