The Rubino Experience
What Is It Like To Work With Rubino?
Hiring a financial services firm for your business is a very personal thing. Even if your business has outsourced accounting and tax advisory functions in the past, your entire company becomes an open book after hiring a financial services firm.
New clients are often surprised at the personal service and ease of contact with our team, and our processes are very thorough. We look at every corner of your organization, studying why financial systems are the way they are. We handle this with respect and grace. After all, our job isn’t to rebuke you for operating incorrectly; we’re just here to introduce better ways.
Responsiveness and availability are two of our hallmarks. You’ll have ready access to the entire team, including our shareholders and senior managers. Other firms treat their partnerships as though they’re above you, incapable of being wrong. We’re not like that. We’re available to you throughout the year to answer any concerns you have. Rubino isn’t just a service provider—we will give you the attention you deserve.
Our Onboarding Process
There are three major components to delivering services that are customized, responsive, and aligned with each of our client’s specific business needs.
The first phase is to develop, refine, and maintain an extensive understanding of each client. We start our research into some background documents about your organization, including your prior year’s financial statements. We take the time to learn your goals and objectives and tailor our approach to what would best help you succeed.
The second phase of our onboarding efforts is to ensure a highly customized and responsive accounting and tax advisory service. This involves the completion of research and other thought-leadership projects relevant to each client—and bringing the knowledge gained through such efforts to our clients.
The third phase involves assembling our team and performing internal training on the client’s organization, financial statements, and important ongoing operations and activities. We’ll work with the client’s management to refine our knowledge about their organization: its structure, practices, and operations. We staff each job in a way that ensures a constant depth of knowledge. In following years, we’ll continue to develop the staff to make sure that institutional knowledge of the client is not lost.
This onboarding experience allows Rubino to provide not only insight but personalized services in areas such as:
- Board governance matters
